Abstract: Internships are one of the main requirements for going through the education process or part of job training, usually these internships are conducted by final-level students. Based on the applicable curriculum on our campus is the KKNI system where internships are divided into 3: internships 1 only make observations at school, and internships 2 learn the learning methods and also make lesson plans that are guided by supervisor teacher. and this year we did an apprenticeship 3 oriented to class students namely teaching practice like a teacher, where previously had also done internships 1 & 2 in order to continue intership 3 and in the research we had done namely in the process of learning high school level education for 2 weeks biology subject in class XI topic "Digestive System" uses the method of discovery discovery and learning, while during teaching and learning activities take place only half of the number of students who play an active role using the discussion method and after completing the material when evaluating using discovery learning methods with the intent It is expected that students will be able to use any media whether it is books, the internet, and other learning media, and the results of research conducted from this discovery learning insight from students will increase and the teaching and learning process can run well. The result of the internship that has been done is that students are more pleased the learning process using discovery learning methods makes students more creative and insight increases with the various sources of literature available.
