Abstract: Recently, an idea about space travel is a commercial activity that provides a valuable experience for anyone who does it. More than one hundred thousand people not only want to go to outer space but also want to live outside the earth. They have been working on things to spend the rest of their lives on an uninhabited planet. This fact is what underlies an organization formed to bring the mission of bringing humans on earth who yearn to fly to Mars. The Mars One is one of the organizations that carry the mission. The project will begin operation in 2022 to explore the red planet. According to Bas Landsdorp, founder, and CEO of Mars One that the various barriers that exist at all do not impede the interest of about thirty thousand people to participate in this project. Then, how to take part in this mission to Mars? Anyone aged 18 or over may register through the website by choosing some form of payment options available. Of the applicants, Mars One said it would pick one 40 astronauts this year. Four of them consisting of two men and two women will leave for Mars in September 2022, making landings in April 2023. However, this personal access to Mars raises some legal questions. This essay will elaborate further below.
