Abstract: As a world-wide research object that can go beyond the country and beyond the geographical limits, women are worthy of discussion in politics, history, economy, psychology, and other fields. At the same time, it has also been widely mentioned and studied as the basis of many related concepts of women in sociology. Some scholars have made their own research by combining feminism with folklore. Folklore is as a scientific and comprehensive subject, in the process of the development of folklore for many years, it is always a problem to be in-depth study, for example, what are the conveniences of women in the study of folklore, what obstacles have been encountered, the extent to which women have contributed to the development of folklore, or whether the study of folklore has been restricted by the neglect of the role of women, does the combination of feminism and folklore mean the real establishment of the academic position of female folklore in academic research, etc. Yanagitakunio who is the origin of the study of the Japanese folk custom, to what extent recognition and research on the status of women in folklore requires further consideration. Whether women have played their orthodox academic role in Chinese folklore needs further study. As China and Japan of the East Asian countries, in this geographical relationship, the research on the status of Chinese and Japanese women's folklore, the refinement of the research course and the related problems of the study are to be updated, and it is an impatient historical and realistic requirement, and it will make reference to the female scholars who are interested in the study of folk custom in the present time.
