Abstract: The road accident concept understood as the event, usually involuntary, generated at least by a vehicle in motion, causing damage to people and property involved in it, which also affects the normal movement of vehicles that are moved by road or roads included in the place or within the area of influence of the event; This situation becomes relevant to become a problem of general interest, case as the department of Antioquia of the 939 fatal cases, 149 correspondings to the municipality of Medellin, figures that make them one of the territories with more deaths in traffic accidents in 2017. In this work, a model of Bayesian networks is constructed with the purpose of determining the influence of geographical, temporary factors, territorial division and conditions of the site of the event on road accidents in the municipality of Medellín-Colombia.
